L Hewitt (Aus) 3 6-2 1-6 6-7 A Murray (GBR)

Having beaten Roddick in the semis the 18 year old now has a career ATP title and will be top-50 when the rankings come out.

Tim who?

He has one title to his name and all of a sudden he is the new saviour of British tennis? At least give him time to get more tournaments under his belt before people start over-hyping him.
I seem to recall the same thing happening to a T. Henman and to G. Rusedski and look what happened to them. Andrew Murray may turn into a great tennis player with time and experience but if too many people start touting him as the next best thing then all that will happen is he will struggle under the mounting pressure of expectation.
Let him play his tennis, let him grow and mature, let him learn from the tournaments he plays and let him progress without the weight of a nation on his shoulders.
