OK, I've already got a DVD player (Sony) and it won't play CD-R (DVD-R+R CDRW etc all fine). I'm thinking of buying a cheapo one for playing MP3's and S/VCD's - I've seen one a WH Smiths for £49.99 (multiregion, cdr, mp3 etc) anyone got one? - Or recommend another

Ideally it needs to be as small as possible as room under TV is limited due to DVD player, SKY+ and BIG cinema amp.

I have one of these from amazon....

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000B0A4G/ref=br_lf_ce_3/026-2139417-1132408

And never found any problem with it. It is also wired into my home cinema amp.

Cheers - I bet Yamaha are not happy with the Yamada label?

Try looking at Richer Sounds (www.richersounds.com) I think. They have some great bargains...
