Still on 3Mb

Sorry to sound like an idiot, but I heard NTL upgraded 3MB to 10MB. I've got a Samsung SMT-2100c digi box. Do I need to give NTL a call to replace it with one to give me 10Mb or am I barking up the wrong tree here?

The Samsung isn't capable of 10meg, only about half. The only way to get 10 meg is through an upgrade to a modem. There is an upgrade charge of £50, although sometimes this is waived if you kick up enough of a fuss.
