Ive just been told by someone installing the BB disk that there is space for only 7 characters on the screen but there reg number has 8?
Is that normal ?

Yes...miss off the last digit of the PIN when entering when the CD asks for it.
Later on in the process, when the autoreg page asks for it, enter the full PIN.

Phew....sorted it......I had to wipe their comp as they had a virus and the comp refused to start..installed windows2000 and anti virus and firewall and installed broadband.
I looked like a GENIUS :)
