I'm in dublin, and ive heard from people that NTL are upgrading all the broadband soon, like 1mb to 3 2mb to 5 and 3mb to 10? Is this true and when will it happen???

3MB has been upgraded to 10mb and so will 2mb, later this year.

alright cool, yeah i hope so, i want faster, and i dont want to get 2mb if there gonna upgrade, cos i just built another pc in the house, so we need a little more speed between two.

Don't know about 1mbThe poster lives in the Republic of Ireland and AFAIK broadband services are not the same as NTL over here.

Worth noting too that the ROI cable network is not longer owned by ntl, it was sold to an Irish consortium last year, although at the moment they are still connected to ntl's infrastructure.

It's probably a good idea to contact your customer services department and discuss directly with them the speeds that are available.
