Hi everybody

Do these figures look OK?

Have had major problems over the last 2 week with my 10mb speed. Worked great since I got upgraded then suddenly took a nose drive, various speed tests have given different results from 1.2 and below - 10mb.

I have had 2 engineers come, One changed the modem (now have a 250) and the other checked all the cables and said it was a network problem.

Do the below figures look alright? BTW connected via ethernet.

Cable Modem Downstream
Downstream Lock : Locked
Downstream Channel Id : 2
Downstream Frequency : 586750000 Hz
Downstream Modulation : QAM64
Downstream Symbol Rate : 6952 Ksym/sec
Downstream Interleave Depth : taps12Increment17
Downstream Receive Power Level : -7.7 dBmV
Downstream SNR : 30.2 dB

Thanks

Raymond

Kev is NTL staff but posts here voluntarily ... if he chooses to help you (I'm sure he will!) you will need to PM him some of your account details. Wait for him to post in this thread to tell you what he needs though. :)

clone your modem > free internet > bad for ntl's business model

..>bad for you as you might (initially) get blamed for excess downloading and/or have to have a new modem installed. I promise not to (partly because I know everyone's MAC anyway :P).
