I have been experiencing this for weeks now. I have phoned CS 4 times, Ive had an engineer out who replaced the modem but still I have problems

Ive wiped me pc, ive tried another pc the problem still remains

The disconnnects last from 5min to about 30 mins, the modem lights show everything as fine but when it happens you cannot reach it at 192.168.100.1

When the connection does work I have bouts of severe upload lag.

Because this problem is making my internet unusuable if I was unable to solve it would I be able to get out of my contract early without fee's?

I dont want to leave NTL as up untill now they have been great, but I dont want to pay for something I cant use.

How is the modem connected to the PC?

If its via USB, power down all kit and connect via the ethernet (CAT5) cable and power up all kit

USB has caused problems

Currently USB however the reason for it being USB is I had the exact same problem with ethernet and the CS told me to swap it over to test it

thought downstream was 402750000?
my Grimsby connection is fine though, UBR 1 near town center, ambit 200

Ive swapped to ethernet and problems are still there.

The modem took about 10 minutes to reconnect, I remember at my old address it took 2-3 at the most

Im near town also Buller Street
