2mb & Gaming Help

Hi Folks

I'm on 10mb but i'm sure pretty soon ntl will cap me as according to my usenet stats i'm downloading about 120gig a month and thats not inc web downloads and gaming on the 360.

I see that 2mb is unlimited, as was wondering, if those on the 2mb service notice any major problems when gaming, like lag?

I notice no difference in games like halflife 2, battlefield 2 etc between 2Mb and 10Mb. Also my ping always stayed the same which is around 20 on UK servers whether i was on 600k - 2Mb or 10Mb. No lag at all (when my service is working correctly) which it isn't tonight!!!

Providing your not using other PC's at the same time, or hammering the bandwidth i see no reason you would lag.. remember to watch your upload rate also as that is lower on the 2mbps service (although if your not doing too much it shouldnt be a problem. I was getting a ping of 55 on a PC in finland playing Quake ..... :)
