:erm: coggy, where you getting yours at ?

seems cheaper in Spain (http://www.nutraingredients.com/news/ng.asp?n=64386-olive-oil-spain)

Prices for Spanish olive oil are already at record highs, at around €3.79 per litre of extra virgin
EDIT: never mind, read a bit more of the article

"I was selling premier olive oil at £35 for half a litre. Now I consistently sell out of that oil every year and even sell better oil at £65 for half a litre. Olive oil is like wine, when it's gone, it's gone. You can't make it up like engine oil.
"Most people in the UK now have olive in their kitchen. It might be bad quality, but they have it. They are aware of the health benefits and I think it's also because most people now go abroad. They taste it in Mediterranean countries, like it, and so buy it when they are back home."

It definately tastes better and is more healthy too.
Just sprinkling a bit on some salad and tomatoes, very nice.
And I always think it gives alovely taste if you add some to pizza bases.

Another oil that is quite nice is grape pip oil.

Similar but with 4 parts Olive Oil to vinegar and on occasions a smidge of honey (with grainy Dijon).

Thanks but I'd rather bathe in warm diarrhea - KoS shaving oil is rubbish and cuts me to shreds. I'll stick with my own oil thanks :)

When I was young one couldn't buy olive oil in the grocers. We had to buy it at the chemists as olive oil BP in teeny weeny bottles.

even better if you make 'fried bread' with it, nice slice of crusty bread, brush with extra virgin olive oil, fry on both sides in a hot pan - add whatever you want, but bacon, mushrooms & tomatoes, are recommended ;)

If you have a fried egg, as well, just a dash of vinegar will 'cut through' the extra oil ;)

Why not just use K.Y jelly :disturbd:
Well it's handy for massage but I wouldn't use it in that way. I tried vegetable oil - hard to get out of the sheets. Gets everywhere. Plus (educational moment coming up) oil and latex are a bad idea.

No, it's either a huge increase in ear wax or we're all massaging one another.

totally :notopic: - I never realised some people cannot smell hydrogen cyanide (which apparently smells like almonds), so if Incog is offering 'almond products', be careful ;) :jk:
