Hello ,
i'm having major problems with uKonline. I had a search on the web to find help solving my problems and this is how i found this forum. Hope you will hep me guys.
I've got 2mg connection and i'm using BT Voyager 105. As you can guess it is not stable drops very often. thats why i bought US Robotics wireless gateway model 809108. and the problems started - everybody is aware that UKonline Tech support is ****e - they dont have a clue . But i dont know if the problem is with the actual gateway or their services . this is the brief explanation of the problem :
i can set up the gateway to connect to the ISP and I'm getting Connected to Internet Status but I cant browse. It looks like the router doesn't route outside the LAN - what i mean is it cannot obtain automatically the def gateway or dns from the provider - they are 192.168.1.1 (http://192.168.1.1/) for both gateway and dns instead of 87.81.48.2 (http://87.81.48.2/) and 212.135.1.36(195.40.1.36 (http://195.40.1.36/)), although it is set to configure them automatically. I tried to configure these settings manually but no joy again - i cant browse or ping any outside addresses.
If you have any suggestions please feel free i'm fed up big tyle
cheers
