Hi, Wonder if someone can help. My dogs got frightened on 31st dec by fireworks, and managed to pull the wire out of the phone point for ntl. (this is the first phone point into the house ie: the main ntl phone point). Does anyone know the wire colour codes and what numbers they go into? There are 3 slots in the main point.
Thanks alot guys,

Mike

Vavlitis welcome to the site.

If you call ntl they will fix this free of charge if it is the main socket, if its an extension it is chargeable. But to let you know on the back there should be A and B the solid colour (blue primary, but if this is faulty orange) then the white/blue in to the A side. If you are lucky you will have an old screw type master but if not you will have a slot in type that strips back the plastic automatically, if you have no insertion tool you could use a razor blade (but this is not the best.

I would call ntl and get them to sort it out.
