And therein is the proof that you haven't grown up yet. Why don't you relax a bit? You'll enjoy life more.

youngsters wouldn't understand half the ironic humour & social commentary in the first film - they can enjoy it for the overt slapstick stuff & the simple storyline, but the subtleties would be lost on them - and, by the looks of it, the second film is more of the same.

Go on Kronas - give it a go - check out some of Eddie Murphy's one liners, especially;)

<edit> and they only show the eye candy in the trailers - for the really funny stuff, you have to watch the film:)

lol @ kronas, "Im not going to see that film, thats for babies and im all Growed up now, im a big boy" slightly misquoted and some obvious spelling mistakes to make it sound more immature but thats what your earlier comments sounded like to me Kronas.

FYI it made you sound like you have actually taken several steps backward rather than a step forward, and..... No I cant..... ah what the hell..... Avrils Age group is aimed at 12-14 so whats your excuse there?

proof that misrepresentation and someone who doesnt fully understand the factor in ones decision and angle shows ones lack of judgement ie you :D

Which is exactly why young kronas has missed the point entirely.

If the 2nd Shrek is half as good as the 1st one it'll be an excellant film. I thought the first Strek was brilliiant & very funny for both kiddies & adults

It has absolutly nothing to do with being a kids film. A huge amount of the humour is aimed at adults also. You lose massive respect points with comments such as your making towards others that enjoy this film (as in the rest of the members). Having met you I would say that your not in the postion to be commenting on others at all.

The last bit in the trailer with donkey is funny as hell
Can't wait to go myself to see it. :)

i never made comments towards other members im stating what i think it might go against the 'grain' but this is a site that wants free speech am i wrong ? im not going to 'tow' the majorty line i am free to express what i believe to be the case

Well what it all comes down to Kronas is that you have missed a good film (regardless of it being a 'mere' cartoon) and if you don't see Shrek 2 you will have missed another!

Go on - sneak down the video shop and smuggle a copy back - no-one will EVER know your shameful secret! ;)
