hey dudes,

I got a new phone the Samsung D600.

I don't like the standard melodies that come with it, I had a few good tunes on my computer, namely Magnum P.I. & Seseme Street but these are for certain people, when they call.

I am looking for a normal ring ring ringtone.

I would not like to pay for it, and I can't find any free sites. there was one on jamster that I liked, but I am not paying £5 per month for one ringtone.

any suggestions?, or if any of you guys have a good ring ring as in mp3 format, you could send me, I would be very grateful.

I did a search here after 30 mins search on google, and found some site that was suggested for nokias and the likes.

If not try a search on that site under the word 'ring'.

No you can use them for any phone which uses polyphonics.

Click on the 'Download this' link at the bottom of the page and it goes to your computer.

For it to go straight to your phone, enter 1975988 at wap.lasyk.net from your wap browser.

russ,

I tried to download this, but my phone does not take in midi files.

any other cool free sites?

I am stuck on my old sim for a few more days until my number is ported, I have only 6p on my current sim, until I change over then I am on contract.

so going wap is no good for me.

thanks jellybaby,

but it is not what I am looking for.

I am looking for what might sound like a telephone ringing in a cartoon, like in top cat.

thanks anyway

Jelly baby,

A bit better, but still not exactly what I am looking for, I will use it in the mean time.

but I am after a more cartoonish form of this, like what you might find in american cartoons like top cat, etc.

the weird thing is it is hard to exlpain, but I would know it if I heard it.

Rather than make another thread I thought I;d ask here. :)

I've got the D600 now and I wanted to install a few games (I have some I jsut want to copy over)

Now I thought it'd be a simple case of sticking them on the transflash card and then installing them. It seems I have to go through a real rigmarole to get them on there (I've only got one installed after 1.5 hours messing) and even when they are they don't necessary work. Well that's what I found with lemmings.

Is there an easy way to get games on the Samsungs?

Shaun have you tried uploading them to this site first, http://www.euploader.com/index.php?set_lang=uk then you can simply connect to the wapsite and it will download and should install there and then when you use the quick code thing. I've used it a lot myself and it doesn't use a lot of data, though it depends on the size of the file.

If you are getting a ot of error messages or the application doesn't seem to appear once installed, could it be that you are trying to install a .jar file without the .jad file?

With the install problem, if you don't fancy trying the wapsite, or if that doesn't do it for you, try this tutorial here, but use your data cable as opposed to your bluetooth http://users.skynet.be/yozy/tutorials/samsung/d600/d600-1.htm
