I've been with NTL BB since the early days - the days when youhad to buy your own cable modem and NTL didn't supply the as part of your subscription.

So I've got a Surfboard 3100 , which I understand is not fully compatible with 10mb due to it only having a 10meg half duplex nic.

Question is, what will happen to me with regard to the upgrade? will i need to get a new modem ? will ntl supply me one free of charge?

any advice?

they will have to supply you with a new one. I guess you will need to contact them though.

Same thing happened when people went to 3Mb and were using the STB, NTL had to replace the PACE STB boxes

Not sure, you'll have to call CS

You'd call CS and they'd arrange for you to receive a new one.

You never got a letter ?
All those who bought a modem will now have to pay the same as everyone else.... I also bought my own and was paying £19.99 for 500 > 750 > 1Mb > 2mb upgraded free, but a letter said I would now have to pay £25.99 or what ever the price is for 2Mb, I complained and at the moment I pay £16.99 which I guess is for 1 year.
