ADSLGuide's test probably has been hammered for the last few times, I wouldn't take it to heart unless your downloads are consistently slow.

Have you done any other speed tests? have you checked your pc? are you using a router? are you getting disconnections? how long has this been going on for? have you tried pinging/ trace routes to different servers? which speed test site did you use? Are you using a cable modem/ set top box? How many pcs are connected? which OS are you running? ...

If you need help then you need to give us a bit more information ....

Since upgrading to 10mbit my speed has been all over the place at peak times. I can't wait till everyone has been upgraded... :erm:

Chris I did but so have others but they just had their posts locked not deleted. Luckily I seen the message telling me to post in the merged thread in the email, if I had no reply on I wouldnt have seen the message.

I didnt initially post in the merged thread because I am not on 10mbit although I think the 10mbit service was to blame it was no means certian.

the issue seems to be gone it resolved itself after 15 mins or so I am hoping it was a one off glitch.

Anyone in the Darwen/Blackburn area having slow speeds?

I'm on 3mb and this evening I'am lucky if I get 1.5mb :(
