Cos its tradition ( OR cos they got put forward at 2am) - actually i dont have a clue?!

But it doesnt matter when its done just as long as its done! :)

Cheers - Can someone explain how I get a 11 week old to take advantage of the extra hour?

that doesnt answer why it has to be 2am

You don't. But this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0091882338/ref=sr_aps_books_1_1/026-2629828-8004437) might help your sleepless nights in the longer term.

I hold out little hope of our 13-month-old taking advantage of his lie-in either.

that doesnt answer why it has to be 2am

Cos they go forward at 1am

It's to stop any confusion over doing it at midnight.

Good Morning!

I went to bed early, woke at 9.15 and thought that's about right for a Sunday.Got down stairs and found it was 8.15.Poo!

I thought my hubby had gone to do his overtime late too. :)

Well now I will have to go fix all the other clocks apart from the PC,VHS,TV.That leaves my watch,Alarm, and Microwave.Everyone else can take care of them selves.

Incog.

Decided to take advantage of our exra hour by staying up an hour late instead of sleeping in (we never get a lie-in, thanks to the boy!) However, said boy can't tell the time yet, and he decided to have one of his early mornings, so when he awoke at what he thought was 6.40, it was actually 5.40 ... I can't moan too much as it was my lovely missus that got up, fed him and then persuaded him to go back to bed for another hour. But now we're all a bit worn out (especially him, as he thinks it's 15 minutes past his bed time and he's only just getting supper).

I thought it was something to do with the trains, no trains running at 2am so wouldnt mess up the timetables (even if they are well messed up now)
