Aparently Asda will no longer be giving a 3 year warranty on electrical goods as from November 4th.

I Just thought I would mention this to those that get thir eleccy stuff from there because of it.

Although if you get them first you still have 3 years.

Not a recommendation but "Barclaycard" offer extended warrenty on goods (household appliances - not XBOX's!) if you purchase them with your credit card.

They'll also extend an already extended offer - So if you get 3 years from Asdas they'll do the 4th (far cheaper than extended warrs. from Dixons etc.)

Really? Its all happening now isnt it...

On the 2nd its Double Discount Day, on the 3rd is the day all Christmas POS goes up plus the day when my department goes price made reducing everything (Photoshop). and now the 4th is that.

zoombini, what store you work at? Have you had a new call system put in? Im on holiday at the moment but I tried to call my store yesterday to be put through to my department and its an automated thing (reception lady speaking) and then I get put through to an ASDA Call Centre
