NTL Phone Dialler Gone on the Blink

For the last week my phone dialler has gone on the blink. I keep reprogramming it, dial OOOO, get the welcome message, all OK then some time later or next day on trying to use the phone all I get is tones as if the box is dialing itself an endless number or 4 intermittant dial tones then a constant tone. Sometimes it will not clear the line after a call resulting in lost incoming calls.

I tried a new spare box i had still in its sealed box this one was totally US.

Any one else had these problems?

you could always ask for another one, and in the meantime simply dial 1263 before making a call...

Been there. Done that. Got the tee shirt.
Spent 5 days trying to get through to Customer Services. Hooray eventually success at some considerable cost. But, and it is a big but, will I eventually get one???????????????

Miracles do sometimes happen, my box has now decided to work, but for how long. That is the question.

It took me months to get the first dialler then they put me on CPS.........
