I wonder how many people actually fall for these scams though? :confused:
I'd certainly be suspicious if anyone e-mailed me asking for info like that - or am I just paranoid? :eek:

My understanding is that the email has a link on it that then takes you to a webpage that looks like the banks one... very clever scam

I did have the ebay one that went round recently, I knew what it was, but took a look anyway.

The web page did look very much like an ebay page, but the thing that gave it away was the url in the address bar, was just an IP address, easiest way to tell if its genuine.
