View Full Version : NTL 250 Drivers needed

hello, i revcently had to format my PC and have lost my installation disc, i have ordered a new one but was hoping to find the drivers online before it arrives in a few days time so i have my internet access restored at home.

i cannot find the drivers anywhere tho :(

can any1 help me out?

i have the NTL 250 Modem and am running windows XP Pro

Or, use the ethernet connection, no drivers required and (some say) much more stable!

thanks, ill try the ethernet route since that the ntl website seems to have changed and that link no longer works :(

edit: ive finally found my way arround NTL's amazingly "easy" website and found the drivers i need :)

only problem now is its 2.44mb and this pc doesnt have a CD burner :s ill work something out

Definatly go the ethernet route.

1. Unplug modem from power and power down pc.

2. Remove the usb cable and put away.

3. Plug in ethernet cable and power up the modem.

4. After a minute or so power up the computer.

should work straight away.

They say 95% of calls to helpline are using USB so that kind of says it

Both work just as fast but Ethernet is the best as usb for one needs drivers and two puts a small load on the CPU
