Hi there everyone. I have been a reader of this site for a while now but never posted, but after reading this I'd like some views on this scary change.

I've just read the NTL are going to buy Telewest. One report says it could be as soon as Sunday or Monday coming and another says it will be completed by the first quarter of 2006. Maybe both are accurate but the second one might be the estimated complete takeover/changeover. If NTL caps my soon to be 10 meg service then I see no option but to go to ADSL. I can get 8 meg at my exchange and shouldn't be too long till I can get 24meg with 1 meg uploads.

I would love to stay at Telewest but if I'm capped then I'm gone & I think a lot of Telewest customers with the ability to change will too. I just hope NTHELL doesn't destroy Telewest as I've been with them for years. If NTL do introduce caps I think they'll lose money and customers and I hope they fall flat on their faces as there messing with something that has been great for many years now. Coming and taking my uncapped services will they NTL bloomin treehuggers.

This is just my views/worries. So people what do you think?
