The observation deck of the empire state building is supposed to be pretty good if you're not sure.
A lot of people get blown back at the building and land on the ledge a few floors down.

Maybe its all a big con?

Maybe its great fun going over the falls and they dont want loads of people doing it and making the place look cheap!

if he was just 'having a laugh' he will have to pay $10,000 i doubt many of the people that do jump off have that kind of money
