Mine wasn't working at all.

I wasn't to impressed because I just bought a brand new 28" widescreen tv and plugged the NTL box via the scart in and I got a blue screen and could hear what was ever on TV.

I spent 30 mins on phone to supplier of TV who said it should work, they said check with NTL or bring it back for a refund.

I thought what I will do is reset the NTL box which is plugged into same connection as NTL Cable Internet Box which reset and I noticed that that couldnt sync and the sky box second button flashed for a long time.

Still nothing tried ring NTL who were checky enough to cut me off as it just hit 5pm which did not impress me at all.

Absolutely fumming nothing I can do since customers services are closed and can't access the internet i thought well im going have to wait, miss the pay per view match i paid for which I want a refund for as hope something happens.

Surely enough about 9pm i notice the sync light on my Cable Modem comes on, i try plugging the Cable TV box back to TV and hay presto it all works.

I've had a whole load of outage over the last week, I just assumed it was due to the upgrades. I hope it is or I have a problem

NTL rang me up this morning saying that there was Network Outage problems in my area. M21.

So anyway with similar problems with there NTL Digital TV without display and sound only and/or Cable Internet box not syncing is apparently down to this issue.

Hope that may help anyone is my area.

I'll give it another day and see how it goes. :) I should add that I'm in Peterborough, not Manchester.

Well CM logs don't usually mean much to me, but the line in red doesn't look good.

I have had no Cable TV from late yesterday afternoon (27/9/05)until mid morning today(28/9/05) when I called CS the recorded message said that there was a fault, and it was being looked at.

Its now working fine.
