Anyone remember 'Ask The Family' that game show hosted by Robert Robinson? If you do, then you'll probably remember the picture quiz of an everyday item photographed at a strange angle. As time goes on a larger picture is revealed.

Can you guess what this is?

but then you DO have the original to look at.It's bound to be easy to you.

I would have gone with Silver teapot/coffeepot myself but I guess I'll just have to wait until either someone gets it OR we get a bit more of the piccy.

Incog. :)

Apologies to Incognitas - and anyone else confused by this - I was just trying to save on bandwidth. Anyway here's your penultimate clue. Engage australian accent and say after me 'Do you know what it is yet?'

Many thanks to Nemesis for all his hard work. Looks like this wasn't such a brilliant idea so back to the drawing board for next time ;)

Hi altis

that was a good idea, the concept of the piccy zooming out didn't work for me, though, until it was obvious it was a bike pedal.

I'd like to see another one?

Just like SPD's on oneside flat on the other! - Take the reflectors off please

altis
21-10-2003, 22:01
They are indeed Shimano PD-M323s (http://www.paul-lange.de/ftp/SHIMANO/Shimano_Explosionsz/PD-M323.pdf). A bit heavy perhaps but they've proved to be very reliable (touch wood!) over many tours to the far-flung corners of Europe. For cycletouring I need something simple, reliable and with a bail out clause - hence the rat-trap on the other side.

Anyway, what's wrong with pedal reflectors? They're very effective and their simple harmonic motion is a dead giveaway for a cyclist.
