Hi,

My broadband connection is dropping intermitently all morning. I've called NTL and they're sending an engineer, but I wanted peoples opinions on the following power levels:

Downstream Receive Power Level : -4.88 dBmv
Downstream SNR : 33.14 dB
Upstream Transmit Power Level : 61.00 dBmv

This is when it's working. When the connection drops (no RDY or Sync lights) the power level page isn't available.

Thoughts?

I can't comment on that but for my own problems what area are you in?

I've had a couple of short dropouts that I've noticed which I'm pleased to say is very unusual. It all began after having to reboot my modem after some recent upgrade work I saw on the status page....

seems to be up again here, hopefully it will stay up..

was on 56k dialup while the bb was down, one rather notices the speed difference between 2mbit and 56k :Yikes:

I beleave that the posts about connetion dropping and this posts are the same. it looks like some thing is wrong with the network? Iam BN64 area. Ps ive just found this in ntl cable tv support & discussions....Hiya

Sorry I didn't post anything earlier. Unfortunately all of the 11 channels planned for launch today have been postponed. We hope to launch them next week, but we have some other issues that we have to deal with before we can launch these new services.

I understand that it's disappointing, but we won't launch any new channels if there is a risk that they will affect the service overall.
