Limited or No Conectivity

I have re installed windows xp on my pc, and I connected my ntl 250 cable modem back to the nic and my internet connection is fine but down by the clock I have an error message that says limited or no conectivity. How do I get rid of this?

go into start-> control panel -> network and internet connections-> network connections

then chose the connection with the (!) icon and right click. chose disable.

job done :)
