Can you hire a helicopter like you can a limo?

I know you will be restricted on numbers and how long you can go around for but just wondered if you can hire one.

Sure can - but I bet it's expensive.

Im guessing you need to be a fully trained pilot, need a good insurance, and need a lot cash....... but it is probably possible to hire one somewhere.

This place might help...

Looking at them prices I think we will forget it. More than what I thought it would be.

Yeah its really exspensive which is annoying as it would probably be quite fun.
Have you looked into other possibilities, eg. hot air baloon ?

We would prefer a helicopter as you can use them at night, hot air balloon not really my cup of tea.

if its night time i think you are talking £900 an hour but you can get £400 or less for daylight :)

There is sign on the side off the M62 eastbound near the Bury trun off saying hire a helecopter. I go up there regular I'll have a look when I go up there.

Spaeking of helicopters, I've always liked the black humour that calls the big nut that holds the rotor blades on the Jesus nut.

None of them will hold enough money!

" Includes: 2.5 hour wait time at the venue"

do you think they'll keep the rotors spinning while they are waiting, so people think you are really important, and may have to leave at the drop of a hat - probably not ;)

what do they call the big nut that holds the cyclic control - oh yes - the pilot

If you want, for 200 hundred quid, I'll give you a piggyback and make 'whump-whump-whump' noises (or whatever noise you think a helicopter would make). I'll even let you wear a headset so you can pretend to be talking to 'air traffic control'.
