View Full Version : 100M I have superhub - will it automatically give me 100mb or does it require reboot?
Currently on 50mb, according to the site I am due for an upgrade this month. Do I need to keep rebooting my modem each day to see if the new speed is there?

the modem has to be rebooted to get the new config file for the speed increase but I think it checks for that when it renews its dhcp lease every few days. If not, VM might force a restart when they have upgraded the area anyways.

VM force a restart if I remember correctly. Happened to my modem when I was on 10Mb and got the new upload speed for a week in September as a trial. ;)

yeah they force a restart whenever they send new configs out
Ahh, much more informative replies there guys and gals! I am eager to get the new speed upgrade, as Virgin seemed to have finally fixed the utilisation issues in my area after I told them I was going to go to ofcom...:tiptoe:
