Pc is a resent new build SSD is nearly empty, Just tried on another computer showing the same less than 4mb and on iphone showing around the same. I will give them a call later on as im at work from 1400

VM customer service are complete rubbish! Theres nothing they can do your getting 4mb !!! and it will fluctuate. So I get a better package and get worse performance on the upload speed

you could try factory resetting your superhub until you end up on a different upstream channel

Log into MyVirginMedia and see what it says against your Broadband, “100” or “XXL”, in theory 100 gets 10Mb/s upload and XXL gets 5Mb/s.

I'm on 100 with 10mb upload as you can see in my first speed test link, resetting the hub factory defaults what's the possibility of getting on a new channel? Ill give it ago when I finish work and post the results. Any other things I could try to get at least 7-8mb?

the only thing you could try is as you said factory resetting to get on a new channel, I get a choice of three and it usually takes about 3 factory resets to change it

just spotted you are in LE3 area, I know someone in your area who has had ongoing problems with high utilisation, and apparently your area only has 2 upstreams, my guess is that your are on the lower utilised channel of the two and this is why you are unable to lock onto the other one (yes, they do you load balancing despite the results)

yeah sounds all too familiar, although at least your download speed is staying high (at 10am). heavy congestion at 10am tho, says it all.

Online gaming doesn't use much in the way of bandwidth.

If you ping to DNS, does your latency jump up in the same manner?

in command prompt type

ping 194.168.4.123 -t

and monitor it for a bit. if it's relatively stable then it's not the connection causing the spikes your seeing when playing games. If it jumps around, use something like pingplotter or winmtr to trace to DNS and see where the spikes in latency are occurring.
