Upgrade 60Mb > 100Mb

I wish to upgrade from 60Mb to 100Mb to give it a go and see how well it performs i was told i'd need someone to come out so they can do a speed test to see if im getting 100Mb and for that i'd need to pay £50 for installation?

Virgin Media Staff say there is no need for tech guy or installation at the property even upgrade from 50 to 100 Meg.

There is sometimes a need for a engineer if going from 10/20 > 60 or above however that's about it. Even in that case the engineer would be free as it's required by Virgin

Going from XL 60 > XXL 100 should be able to be done over the phone
