Has anyone noticed a slow down in the 100MB package

Hi,

Has anyone noticed a slow down on the 100MB package?
I am only able to pull around 70MB, be on it newsgroups, or speed tests.
Before I was able to pull the full 100MB+.

I am wondering if it got something to do with the upgrade from 50MB to 100MB, causing a slowdown on the network.

I am in Lincoln, LN6 area.

interesting. I havent noticed it myself but now you have mentioned it I will check. I am uploading at 1mbit atm which is sweet considering it is a Sunday evening. If I remember, I'll give it a quick whiz tomorrow morning on newsgroups before I go to work and let you know what sort of speed I get. I thought the speed upgrades for us were April-June so I dont think they have done any mass upgrades yet.

I might be wrong but isn't Lincoln on the Nottingham Headend... if my memory serves me correctly Nottingham used to slow down when it was congested. I'm going back a couple of years mind things might have changed since then mind.

it's all good my end. I just downloaded a couple of gig off newsgroups and it stayed solid at just over 12200k

Mine is slowing up day by day at the moment, after clearing everything out it's still no better.

Steady as a rock. 104Mb if speed testers are anything to go by; which they are not.

that's because it's not your pc which is slowing down but the network
