I have just upgraded to a Superhub as it was a requirement for my connection speed being tripled to 60 Mbps. Everything seems to be working OK (been up and running about an hour) and in speed tests I get 62 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up, so that's obviously great, but are my power levels OK?

The reason I ask is because I was getting connection drop outs when I was using a separate modem and router and I was told that it was because my upstream power level was too high at 55 dBmv. An engineer came out and fixed it, but now I'm seeing the same high upstream power level on the Superhub. I'm not actually experiencing any issues up to now, but I just want to make sure all is good so I don't run into problems. Thanks!

i think the upstream level is a little high...

For reference recommended levels are: -3 to +7 down and 35-55 up

Funnily enough mine has dropped significantly today with the good weather haha

Usually drops with heat in my experience, atleast the downstream power levels do.

down has dropped me too but upstream has increased

My shub operating in modem mode doesnt seem to care what the power levels are it worked perfectly at 14dBmv and didnt care about having a high upstream either. It does have 10dBmv attenuator on it now as one was fitted to my Tivo which was freezing and breaking up although I have a suspicion that it might be a disc problem as it reappeared though not so badly. My power levels are down round 0dBmv now and it is hotter outside so I would tend to side with boroboi and SnoopZ ;)

I do note that the upstream has increased to 47dBmv

Thanks for the responses. The Superhub has been up and running for a few hours now and I'm very happy with the quality of the connection, so I assume I should just leave it unless there's a problem?

As long as you're not facing any issues with downloading, browsing or speed or anything else i wouldn't worry about it.

mostly disconnects and t3 timeouts to look out for, check the superhubs event log

Cheers folks! I forgot that the Superhub logs info, so I'll keep an eye on that.
