Does this seem feasible from the info below ?

Speculation on DS forums Film 4 HD could launch on satellite

Launch on Sky/Freesat is the most likely. A launch on Freeview would require another DVB-T2 mux to be created, or one of the existing ones to be changed over, so I don't think we'll see that for a while.

It is more likely that it will appear in sky first!

Doubt it as sky is losing C4 from FTV to freesat and will link into the freesat feeds (same sat group)

The only way for it to become available to sky and not freesat is for them to encrypt it which would then tie c4 in with sky which they do not want to do.

As I have both I don`t care which gets it,although if it`s on freesat then at least I wont lose it if I ever decide to dump sky.

This will be a huge boost for Freesat.
