How easy is it to get VM to go an extra 100 yards to install broadband down a private road?

Very easy if you've got the money, You should get a bit of change from about ten thousand quid...

About £80 per meter if its in the road, Then there are new chambers and termination points if needed. You were pretty accurate there Kymmy :tu

Cable is already available to house numbers 1,2,3,4,5 & 7 in that postcode. If you are one of the others, it would be worth emailing cablemystreet (at) virginmedia.co.uk

You'll probably find that the the cable goes to the EAST/WEST street as that looks original with the little square a new build

Try getting a spotter out, at least someone local can take a look.

They were all built at the same time in the early 80's. I think the white concrete part is a private road though I have yet to confirm that. Also maybe the concrete part is reforced and they could not go though that with a normal digger / pneumatic drill.

How do I contact a spotter?
