Hi All,
Apart from a few weeks back where we had a known outage (MK45), my connection has been reasonably solid (usually every other month the internet dies but a quick IP release/renew on the router sorts it) for the last 10 years or so since CableTel days.
But the last week or so my connection has been pretty erratic. It can stay up for a few hours then suddenly drop and then goes into a loop of connecting for few minutes before dropping again. This usually lasts 20 minutes or so, then it'll be fine for a few hours, then randomly disconnects again.

It's been doing it all day today but I've yet to call Tech Support but VM Status page doesn't show any outages in this area.

Modem - Cisco WebSTAR EPC2100R2 (replace an Ambit modem about a year ago)
Router - Netgear WGT624 v3
Package - 20mbit

Downstream Power Level - ~2.8 dBmV
Downstream SnR - ~40.3 dB
Upstream Power Level - ~44.2 dBmV (drops to 9.x dBmV when the connection drops)

Log for today -

Before I call Tech Support, can anyone shed any light on what could possibly be causing the issues? As I said, it's usually rock solid and stays up for months on end.

Cheers All

Same here, MK41 - It's dropped several times today and no status report posted, also I've had 3 outages for 3 hours or more in the last month all since I upgraded to 30m. Prior to that on 10m I can only remember 1 outage in two years.
