Virgin Going downhill ?

I'm Paying for a 50MB Connection and only getting around 10MB ???
Here's my Power level's dont know if there ok ?

Downstream
Power= 2.6 dBmV
SNR= 42.3 dB
Docsis/EuroDocsis = Hybrid

Upstream
Power= 39.8 dBmV

Been going on for weeks now, Is there anything i can do or ask Virgin to get this issue sorted ??

Thanks for the link, Testing on there now my Internet is fine "at the moment" but now we are at the end of peek hours.
From 17:40 tonight I had slow connection speeds, or when i got on here and notice it to be slow.
Results now...
Down-50411 Up-4730 Ping-60

On Speednet i do test a few different host and all come back with the same or more less the same, around 10MB.

When i get on here tomorrow evening I'll keep a eye on my speeds and test with the above link also with speednet.com and post both results if slow.
Maybe a fix after weeks of slow speeds, we soon see tho lol.

speedtest.net is flash hungry. does you system lag or jump while testing.

I had issues with the London server a few days ago so tried Manchester which worked.

Somtimes i try many servers to see if the results are right.

Just checked now and guess what Half the connection speed @ 8pm
sounds like its a UBR overload on peek hours ??

Here my results now...
Download Speed: 23913 kbps (2989.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 4555 kbps (569.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency:92 ms

As you can see last night late and now at peek hours a big diffrence, this is good other days its been 10MB Download speeds.

I've waited over a hour check connection again @ 9:30pm and Bang dropped by half the speed again, now getting 5MB connection for the price of 50MB

Sh** connection unable to play on-line again this evening lagging and timing out with connection and on Teamspeak 3 showing me losing packets.

Yeah ive Spoken on 150 for the last 3 weeks or more over these issues, I've had 2 engineers out here, New Modem on first visit, 2nd visit new db on modem plus phone call to who every saying there watching and hope to have a fix by the end of the week, This was Monday. Tuesday rang 150 slow speeds got told there aware and hope to it fixed by or have to have it resolved by 5:30pm 4th/11/11. got put throgh to Customer Service and told i would get a refund for the time ive had issues. (I want my speed not a refund) anyways he said he ring me the next morning it should all be fixed because on his screen it says Resolve time by 9am 2/11/11. then he cant sort the amount of refund i should have.
No phone call. (Like i expected them to ring me LOL)
So now awaiting tomorrow 5:30pm if not fixed im going to rage one to a manager.
any tips to get this resoled or help would be nice.

Saturday Speeds was fine all evening. (Bombfire night not many on the net ??)

Sunday yesterday speeds slow down to 4.70mbps at its best.
VM recons they have fixed my issues with slow speeds and said its been Resoled.
I rang VM once again came on my PC and seen speeds. (trying to say it was my PC in so many words so invited him on another PC to show same results from Proof.ovh.net and speedtest.net.

Comes back from second line and yet another Engineer calling tomorrow (Tueday 8/11/20011).

On PC now and 6:30pm checked net speeds and all was good, 48.0 mbps happy days.

3 mins later Net went down came back on 1 minute later and slow speed.
Logs of speeds.

18:35-Time 21.44mbps-Down 4.36mbps-up ping of 101ms
18:39:21-Time 23.79mbps-Down 4.48mbps-up ping of 98ms
18:48-Time 25.04mbps-Down 4.42mbps-up ping of 100ms

I know later this eveing its going to be around 5mb again :td:

Can i ask or does anyone know, If im going on capped speed(s) would my net reboot for VM to apply this, or would i not no ?? (not that ive used any net or bandwidth to a cause to be capped may i make clear.)

Also one more thing can anyone confirm on XXL package 50MB or 100MB connection's, Peek times do not get 50MB to 100MB users capped. (only Upload speed(s) if used unfairly and then capped to 1.75MB on peek time's)
