For the last week or so we have been getting an intermittent loss of internet connection, gradually becoming worse and out for longer periods. Various things have been checked via the fault reporting department. Latest this morning is a "SNR fault" which is likely to be fixed by 13th :dozey:

However in desperation I switched the modem to Network 8 and now have a connection but cannot get on to the Super Hub page any more. :erm:

Help please?

I think you mean SNR not "S&R" In other words too much noise on the line. I've had this at times in Abingdon and your're not too far away.

Just a thought which is probably wrong but did you switch the superhub to modem mode? If so you have use 192.168.100.1 to connect to it.

Press the reset button.
Thanks.

Weird thing is the wireless Lappy will work on the limited Super hub signal but the PC directly connected wont.

So at the moment for the PC to get the internet we have to use Modem mode and for daughter to do her homework in peace Super hub :dozey:

that is a blessing in disguise dude, keep it modem mode and get yourself a proper router which you know will work 100%
