Just thought I would share after more than 5 months off constant complaining to virgin my upload speed has finally been fixed. I am on the 30 meg package my upload should have been 3 meg but it was always 1.6 meg upload despite my area having the upgraded upload.
I heard every excuse under the book from the guys on the phone, went through the official complaint procedure and then was told it was traffic management. Honestly I thought I understood virgins own products more than some of the guys on the phone..
lessons do need to be learned here. Just because it doesn't show any faults on a ubr it doesnt mean there isnt a fault..
THe fault they believe was " the problem arises due a misconfiguration on the network segment you connect to"
My own configuration for the router always showed me configured for the 3meg upload..So the problems are not from my end but the network side of the ubr etc....
Anyway the guys from the community forums finally got it sorted, even give me a fault reference for the issue which I never had after months of calling...
Well done to the guys in the forum for showing some common sense...
The superhub isnt so bad after all, although I never did believe it was the superhubs fault..:D
