Well I notice the modem going on and off for periods of time the last few days and then found this on my modem connection page. I only remember there being one channel before for my 50mbit. Does this mean that 100mbit could be allowed soon?

If you only had 1 channel with 50mbit something was wrong, it uses 4 and I believe in some areas 3. The other day when I restarted my modem I ended up with only 1 channel but a working connection and could not get full speed.

if you have had 50mbit all this time and only been using 1 channel then you have been screwed dude. The max bandwidth per channel is something like 27mbit.

We use 3 channels in my area and the reason why VM have been pushing the superhub is because is because eventually 100mbit will use up to 8 channels which the vmng isn't capable of

Maximum bandwidth per channel (as his stats show) is about 55.6mbps. But indeed, all areas had 3/4 channels as a prerequisite for 50mb itself.

if you can get 55mbits per channel (which i didnt think was possible) and you have got 4 channels on the vmng, why are VM flapping that we need the superhub to run 100mbit and eventually 200mbit?

I thought the superhubs were capable of 400mbit, so that would make me believe that 8 channels of 50mbit would be correct?

I've said a hundred times, you don't need the superhub to run 100mb or 200mb. VM just want it that way.

It's capable of locking on 8 downstreams but only able to process/route 320mbps.
