Upgrading from 50mb to 100mb. £20 extra a month

Hey all,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Recently upgraded the TV on my VIP package to Tivo, whilst I was doing this, I enquired about upgrading to 100mb and the lady on the phone quoted me an extra £20 a month!

So I've popped on here and see some of you have managed to get 100mb for between an extra £4-£10 a month - how does one try to blag this?

It's supposed to be a tenner extra, the only exceptions are when either someone is overpaying already, in which case it's less, or you've already blagged discounts, in which case it may be more.

Show them the price of another 100Mb service in your area and ask them to match it, that should work.
