Can anyone help with the following?

What is the true cost of having the home phone as part of your VIP package? The billing from Virgin is a little complicated for me to know what I'm really paying. Before I make a phone call each month am I paying:

£13.90 Line rental
+£8.00 Talk unlimited
+£1.75 Talk mobile
+£1.75 Talk international
=£25.40

I'm sure some discount will be involved when the service is part of the VIP package however I'm not 100% sure what I'm actually paying in terms of my phone service when it makes up part of the overall VIP deal.

Any help or info would be great. I don't actually use the home phone too often and I'm a little concerned I'm not getting value for money.

It's a simple fact that the VIP bundles INCLUDE phone. You cannot be a VIP customer without phone.

You can, assuming you are outwith a minimum contract period, negotiaite with Virgin Media for a bundle which only contains TV and BB.

Well VIP is £87.56 + £13.90 line rental making it £101.46 in total.

TV XL £30.50
BB XL £35.00
Additional Box £6.50
Sky Collection £29.50
Sky Premium HD £7.00
TiVo £3.00

Total £111.50

So the cost of having unlimited landline calls and cheaper mobile and international calls is -£10.04

Pretty good going :D.

Without a phone line, according to the bundle builder you can get everything else in VIP20 for £101.00, or VIP50 for £107.50.
If you want Tivo then it's £3 on top of them.

So, your phone line isn't costing you anything, it's saving you money.
