Lately, my U/S power level has been going up and down throughout the day.

It peaks at 55dBmV (where I start getting packet loss) and settles around 45dBmV (It used to just hover around 37).

When I first noticed it, shortly after my connection completely dropped, I called up and an engineer came out and changed the tap I was on (next morning). Which reduced the power level back down to 46.

The modem is staying on the same channel, this morning it was back up to 55, and eventually it came down again. (I didn't ring up this time).

When I called the original fault, there was apparently no area fault reported or maintenance going on.

Should I report this?

(The engineer that came out, was the same person who installed the 50Mbit service, and he seemed to think that 100Mbit is available to existing customers using the existing modem, when launched in this area).
