Changing ip address on Netgear WNDR3700

Any help or info appreciated

Basically I want to change my ip address, I have a VMNG300 + Netgear 3700. I have tried cloning my PC's MAC address on the router so that I will have a new ip address, but the problem is that I then don't get any Internet connection

I've tried power cycling everything etc, but no matter what I do, unless I use my routers default MAC I cannot access Internet

Once you do that, you need to keep your modem + router off for a few minutes and then try again. :)

That's what I had to do anyway when I changed IP address.
