It's early days yet before I move away from a cabled area.
I know I'll be able to get BB & Phone, but wondered if there was a programme I can use to see what I actually use now in a month so I know what package to get in the future...
I don't want to download the first programme that comes up in a search in case it's iffy.

I've just started using Networx, it is free and a great piece of software.

I remember using a free program called Netmeter. It didnt take up much resources and worked well.

Maybe you should say in your main post it is for a Mac and not Windows. :)

I did realise that after I posted my link - although my little blurb on the left says that's what I have ;-)

I've googled it and SurplusMeter is supposed to be a good app for the Mac.

I didn't install it, but saw some screenshots, and it looks OK.

Yeah, it's working fine. And it kept usuage from yesterday as well. I know some restart every time the machine is switched off/on.
I've started testing on 10gb a month, but I've already gone over todays allowance as I've downloaded a tv episode.
My only oncern at the end of the day is cost. If we stick with VM in the future for Phone & BB we will have to got to Sky for TV, so it may be more cost effective to get the whole package from one place. Haven't done any research yet though ;-)
