Does anyone know the current pricing on 20m package internet only i looked on vm website and couldnt find it, i just got a bill for like 38 quid internet only (with paper billing charges) and this surely has got to be a joke, phoned retentions to terminate (hopefully re-sign up in 3-6 months time) couldnt really understand the african woman who didnt want to disconnect me just throw me a pooperhub and upgrade me to 30m which i dont really want.

Still not terminated as she said phone back up and think about the pooperhub offer before really deciding which would be 2 quid cheaper than the last bill that came in but i dont want a pooperhub (due to all the problems im seeing) and dont fancy paying the £30 activation fee for a service im already recieving (wish i could charge 30 quid for inputting a mac code).

Anyone know of any decent other isp offers atm or who could reccomend a decent alternative.

20mb only exists as a legacy package, and has now been replaced with 30mb, which is the same monthly cost, but with a £30 upgrade fee

20Mb doesn't exist as a BB speed anymore unless you already have it. All new customers get 30Mb for the same price.

Yes there are some people having a few issues with the superhub, however there are also plenty more people who don't have any problems at all.

So let me get this right, 20mb if already on it is the same price as 30mb?
And if i dont upgrade and get fleeced for the £30 activation fee even though im already activated i get less of a service for the same price?.

20Mb is still available as a Retentions package but is not advertised for general sale so you need to call 150 and choose the option "Thinking of Leaving us" and enquire there.

The charge is to have the superhub sent out.

Yes.

:erm: talk about being hoodwinked, looks like new isp time i'll have to tell the people i recommended vm to as an isp to look elsewhere or pay £30 for nothing.

Even staff had to pay the £30 to upgrade which I did and the is a marked improvement in performance.

Surely you should only be paying £29.75 with paper billing charges, what are the Total Service Charges show as on your bill?

You're complaining about the price but incurring 6.50 a month in avoidable and unnecessary charges for taking a paper bill and not paying by direct debit?

You're on a grandfathered price for a grandfathered product I'm afraid. Paying the 30GBP, foregoing the paper bill and paying via DD will reduce your bill immediately from 36.50 to 28.50 - paying for the activation charge in less than 4 months - and increase speed by 50%.
