Hey upgraded to 30m few weeks ago which fixed the terrible performance of 10m.

however recently i've noticed my Downloads are constantly timing out.. and i have to keep restarting them.

This is an issue that VM are aware of and are working to fix this issue.

There is a temp fix for this though, is to enable the firewall features in superhub settings. If you don't know how to do this i'll post how.

where you got the connection stats from, instead of choosing the "connection" link, click services, and make sure firewall is ticked
