Router for Xbox & PC

I currently have a Netgear WGR614v9 router, but my PC and 360 are wire connected to it. I am about to move my 360 downstairs, its a new 250GB one, is there a better and faster router I can buy or is this one adequate to wirelessly reach 360 in a room below? About 10 metres through floor between 360 and router.

Online gaming on Xbox is best done through an Ethernet cable; if you have the option go to somewhere like Maplins and buy some network cable. This can be purchased buy the meter, two Ethernet cables and two networking wall sockets.
If you have ever extended a phone socket you will have no problem, just make sure the colour of each wire is connected to the same numberd terminal on the rear of both wall sockets. One less weak link in the long chain!

Not really an option as wire will trial downstairs and through 3 rooms! What is best sub £70 router for this or is what I have best I going to get?

I have the boys Xbox wirelessly connected to a D-LINK dir-615 (£40) and have never had any problems.
