looks fine to me, is a reason why you asking?

I play the Xbox 360 on the 30MB broadband from Virgin. Whenever I am host in Call of Duty, sometimes I lag so much and all of my friends lag as well. Sometimes everyone in the game disconnects apart from me. I have no idea how to fix it and have been looking for weeks, thought this was the problem but obviously not :(

seems to be a downstream channel missing ..... 30mb/s should surely have 4 downstream channels

here's mine for example

Could that be affecting the gaming on Xbox?

oh.... i didn't know that

RELZ ... have you tested your speed/pings

also i believe that there has always been problems with the call of duty server (although it's possible they have been fixed .... i don't play it so i can't be sure)

not only that, some only have 3 QAM64 channels so smaller channels as well.

No he is on a Cisco uBR and you are on a Mororola BSR hence the different channels.

dont know about mororola but motorola iv heard of lol!

when your in a party on call of duty, look in the bottom right, it should say NAT Type:Open, if it says moderate or strict then that is your problem.

if its on moderate or strict, you will need to open up ports on the superhub, or put your console in the dmz

if it is on open nat type you should find out the following:

1) take a speedtest (www.speedtest.net) and pingtest (www.pingtest.net) NOT during the period 5pm to midnight
2) repeat step 1, but DO the tests some time between 5pm and midnight
3) if there is no difference between the two, you should take the test when cod gets laggy. take a record of what time etc.
4) make a post on the virgin media forums (community.virginmedia.com) ask them why its laggy, they might be able to find out if there is over-utilisation (or one of the VM guys on here could be so kind)

hope this helps

Yeah my NAT is open, but it isn't laggy. When I am host in CoD, and someone joins or leaves the game, my game freezes for a few seconds and everyone else has 'connection interrupted.' Then all returns to normal, but it is very annoying, sometimes it is so bad that everyone disconnects from the game, and I am in the game on my own.

It seems to be much better after 12am, anyone know the cause of this? Please can any VM guys tell me if there is high utilisation in my area?
