As topic. I was lucky enough to have a VMNG300 installed as well as getting my hands on a hub. Decided that the daily wifi/lan outages were too much so have gone back to the VMNG300 and picked up an Asus RT-N16 router (that will have Tomato on it eventually, but for now its just got the latest firmware).

This is a live graph. The packetloss followed by the high pings are when I've been changing settings/upgrading firmware so the router reboots and becomes unresponsive for a few minutes. That should even out now that I'm not going to be touching it for a while. Jitter on pingtest has gone from 15-20 to 4-6.
Wifi speeds around the house are massively better. Whereas I could see 1mbps where my xbox lives, I now see 14mbps (this is on an iPhone using speedtest, so not highly scientific but still....) I can even get a signal down at the bottom of the garden, which only my old WRTG54 was capable of previously.
So yeah. No more superhub for me :dunce:
