As topic. I was lucky enough to have a VMNG300 installed as well as getting my hands on a hub. Decided that the daily wifi/lan outages were too much so have gone back to the VMNG300 and picked up an Asus RT-N16 router (that will have Tomato on it eventually, but for now its just got the latest firmware).

During Superhell:

VMNG + RT-N16:

This is a live graph. The packetloss followed by the high pings are when I've been changing settings/upgrading firmware so the router reboots and becomes unresponsive for a few minutes. That should even out now that I'm not going to be touching it for a while. Jitter on pingtest has gone from 15-20 to 4-6.

Wifi speeds around the house are massively better. Whereas I could see 1mbps where my xbox lives, I now see 14mbps (this is on an iPhone using speedtest, so not highly scientific but still....) I can even get a signal down at the bottom of the garden, which only my old WRTG54 was capable of previously.

So yeah. No more superhub for me :dunce:

I ask, as you only have one modem assigned to the billing platform, if both your modems work, you have a data mismatch.

At some point the VMNG if its the one missing from the billing side will be deleted and by then it might be too late to have it added back.

Might be worth confirming on the VM forums that you only want the VMNG.

Cheers Nopanic, I'll give the forum team a poke.

Interesting to see my average ping is a bit better. Gaming last night was giving me pings of a solid 15ms wheras with the superhub it was 30-40. Not huge but it goes to show having everything in one device isnt working as well as it should do.
