With my old router you had an option in the settings to reboot the router, was handy if ur router was in a different room, does the superhub have this feature ?

Work-around: Backup your router settings. When you want to reboot, restore them. It achieves the same thing.

Or:

ssh 192.168.100.1
user: admin
pass: [yourpass]You'll be presented with a command prompt. Just type 'reset' and hit enter. VoilĂ* - the hub reboots. ;)

EDIT: You can SSH from the terminal/command prompt in Linux and OS X. In Windows you'll need to use Putty (http://haanstra.eu/putty/) or similar. Putty is a light, easy to use and free stand-alone GUI. No install required. Just enter 192.168.100.1 into the "Host name or IP address" box and make sure SSH is selected. Hit 'Open' at the bottom and you're good to to.

Is the any thing wrong with a straightforward switch off at the plug as per my own setup as the switch is 6 inches from my mouse.;)

Nothing at all but the qualifier - see post#1 - was, if the superhub was in another room.

yeah power cycling is generally bad for electrical components, and of course its more work.

since so many settings force the thing to reboot anyway, just add a static dhcp entry and that will do a reboot.
